Outfyt Talks to Strong Women; Leah, Tracy and Lisa
LEAH KOH - Barista
I’m a barista, I love being hands-on and working in a coffee shop gives me both a buzzing atmosphere and chill energy throughout the day. I love walking, so in my spare time I enjoy exploring different neighbourhoods and visiting independent shops.
Outfyt: How would your friends describe you?
Leah: Outgoing and adventurous - the first two things my best friend said when I asked!
Outfyt: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Leah: I recently tried Caprese salad and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of the mozzarella-tomato-basil-olive oil combination.
Outfyt: What do you do to keep fit?
Leah: Yoga and resistance training!
Outfyt: Which Outfyt item is your favourite and why?
Leah: My favourite Outfyt item has to be the Lena sweatpants. The silhouette is so flattering, and the fit is super comfy - it takes me everywhere and I can dress it up or down for work, dates, errands or resting at home
Outfyt: What one thing could you not go a day without?
Leah: My morning coffee, nothing starts the day quite like it.
Outfyt: What do you like most about Outfyt?
Leah: One thing I love most is that I feel so confident in Outfyt pieces while also having the knowledge that they’re better for the planet. They’re unique pieces I can’t find anywhere else and significantly more eco-friendly than conventional brands.

"Outfyt makes me feel confident!"
Outfyt: Do you have a sustainable tip that you'd like to share?
Leah: If you enjoy coffee too, one sustainable way to enjoy it is to buy from speciality coffee shops! Speciality coffee focuses on sustainably sourcing beans and their traceability, so farmers are paid fairly and coffee processing is friendlier to the environment.
TRACY HO - Global brand marketer
I am a global brand marketer for Zespri and a firm believer of the company’s ethos. One of the concepts that guides how Zespri conducts its business is Kaitiakitanga, which is the Māori concept of looking after the land for the future generations to come. The Māori world view is that every living thing is interconnected. We are obligated to look after the land , from the heavens to the mountains and the seas. In return, the land nurtures us with everything that we need to thrive.
In my spare time I like to go spinning, check out new eats and paint with my toddler. I find art really therapeutic and I am blessed that my little one shares my passion. He’s quite the painter!
Outfyt: How would your friends describe you?
Tracy: Creative, quirky and funny!
Outfyt: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tracy: This is a hard one but I would go with Sushi!
Outfyt: What do you do to keep fit?
Tracy: I try to exercise 3 times a week; this usually includes spinning and weight training. Where possible, I also try to fit in a yin yoga session for a deep stretch.
Outfyt: Which Outfyt item is your favourite and why?
Tracy: Definitely the Lilly V 2.0 Sports Bra. I have it in 3 colours ! Besides being ethically made, the Lilly also looks really flattering when worn and can take you to the gym and beyond.
Outfyt: What one thing could you not go a day without?
Tracy: Coffee! I enjoy waking up to the aroma of a good cup of black coffee. It's part of my morning routine and allows me to kick-start the day on a great note.
Outfyt: What do you like most about Outfyt?
Tracy: I appreciate that Outfyt considers the full product life cycle when designing for sustainability . Besides producing outfits with sustainable fabrics , a lot of thought has also gone into how the products are packed, shipped and given a second life!

Outfyt: Do you have a sustainable tip that you'd like to share?
Tracy: Where possible, consider circular fashion that is not only good for you but good for the planet. Besides donating your old clothes, you can also up-cycle pieces to give them new life. I personally enjoy shopping for vintage because it is more reflective of my style and often one-of-a-kind.
LISA TAN - Sales team manager
I manage a sales team and the best thing about it is witnessing my teammates' growth!
In my spare time I like to work out and spend time with my friends!
Outfyt: How would your friends describe you?
Lisa: Outgoing and Independent!
Outfyt: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lisa: It would be Lotus Pork Ribs Soup with Yam Rice. That's what I eat every night!
Outfyt: What do you do to keep fit?
Lisa: Hiit at Grityard with former athletes as my instructors and inspiration!
"Outfyt makes me feel like a sophisticated modern person!"

Lisa is wearing Iris Crop Top
Outfyt: What one thing could you not go a day without?
Lisa: Looking at my nephew's photo!
Outfyt: What do you like most about Outfyt?
Lisa: I love that the material is so soft and high tension that it keeps our body looking tight! The colours are also really classy- makes me feel like a sophisticated modern person! And above all it's sustainable!
Outfyt: Do you have a sustainable tip that you'd like to share?
Lisa: When I have the urge to shop, I go on Carousell and shop from there instead:)
